Napoli to beat Bologna @ 1/2

Gli Azzurri are unbeaten in their last eight games at Diego Maradona Stadium in all competitions, during which time they have beaten Juventus among seven wins, with the only blip being a goalless Coppa Italia draw with Atalanta. Club stalwart Lorenzo Insigne is again going along nicely with 11 Serie A goals this term, while Dries Mertens should now be back up to full speed after featuring three times since a month on the sidelines. Bologna have a moderate away record, so this is a good place to start with our European football tips.

Real Sociedad to beat Levante @ 5/11

The Royals have gone six La Liga games without defeat and are coming off a cracking 1-1 draw at Real Madrid, where they led through Portu’s 55th-minute strike until Vinicius Junior levelled in the closing stages. That gutsy effort followed a hat-trick of victories in this competition, with nine goals scored in those fixtures, including six for exciting young Sweden striker Alexander Isak. David Silva is back controlling play following a six-week lay-off and Sociedad look a rock-solid outfit once again.

Union Berlin to win at Arminia @ Evens

The Iron Ones have exceeded expectations this season and are still a healthy seventh in the Bundesliga table after picking up five points in a three-match unbeaten run. Union Berlin secured a fourth away win when prevailing 1-0 at Freiburg on their last road trip and have since received a boost by getting top scorer Max Kruse back from injury. He scored five goals in four games before being sidelined in early December and was back on target from the penalty spot in a decent 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim.

Rio Ave to beat Farense @ 11/10

Miguel Cardoso has enjoyed mixed fortunes since returning to Rio Ave, picking up two wins and a draw from six matches, but the 48-year-old is expected to eventually inspire an upturn in fortunes. The 48-year-old led the club to an excellent fifth place when previously in charge for the 2017-18 campaign, before brief stints with Nantes, Celta Vigo and AEK Athens. Rafael Camacho has caught the eye since coming in from Sporting Lisbon on loan.

Ajax to beat Groningen @ 2/9

Erik ten Hag’s men maintained a six-point lead at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie table when drawing 1-1 away to second-placed PSV and should now return to winning ways. Ajax had previously rattled off 10 consecutive victories in all competitions, with Sebastian Haller making a big impression since joining from West Ham for just over £20million in the January transfer window. Groningen are going along nicely enough in sixth, but may have their limitations exposed here.
