Jaguars 7 Round Mock Draft 2017 Draft
Coming into the 2021 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars were looking to make a splash. They did that with their hire of Urban Meyer as their Head Coach. Now with Meyer getting his first chance to show he can coach in the NFL, he has the chance to build the roster the way he sees fit. Meyer receives the luxury of having the first pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
The Jaguars are on the clock!
Pick 1: Trevor Lawrence QB, Clemson
This will be the first time the Jaguars as a franchise have the first pick in the draft, and they get their face for the franchise in Lawrence.
Lawrence is a pro-ready passer. He displays incredible accuracy from short screen passes to deep fly passes. With the accuracy, Lawrence has a quick release of the football and the ability to hit tight windows.
Pick 25: Asante Samuel Jr CB, Florida State
With their second pick in the first round, the Jaguars get a projected lockdown corner. Samuel is a good to great man corner and doesn’t shy away in the run game.
The AL East – Border Fuel
Pick 33: Liam Eichenburg OT, Notre Dame
With the first pick in the second round, the Jaguars pick up a pro-ready left tackle. Eichenberg played in a pro system at Notre Dame and has shown the ability to run people over in the run game and can hold his own in the passing game.
Pick 46: Pat Freiermuth TE, Penn State
With this pick, I was looking to build up the offense and defensive lines, but the value was too good to pass up. I understand the tight end is a key need in the offense.
Freiermuth is a highly athletic tight end who makes plays in the passing game. He is a big body and target in the red zone, which could benefit a young quarterback. He will need to improve in the run game, but he has been improving each year.
Pick 65: Deonte Brown IOL, Alabama
Selecting Brown will help build up the Jaguars offensive line. Brown is a mountain of a man would is a muller in the run game.
Pick 105: Marvin Wilson DT, Florida State
Wilson was a highly regarded recruit coming out of high school. He has shown flashes but never too consistent to be a high-level player. Wilson would add some depth to the defensive line.

Pick 129: Chuba Hubbard RB, Oklahoma State
Hubbard was a prolific runner. He stated the 2020 season then tweaked an old injury then decided to take the rest of the season off to get healthy and prepare for the draft. Adding Hubbard to the running back room will be an asset to the team.
Pick 144: Rashad Weaver EDGE, Pittsburg
Medical concerns will drop Weaver in the draft. Weavers’ film shows he is a savvy pass rusher.
Pick 169: Reed Blankenship S, Middle Tennessee
7 Round Mock Draft Packers
Blankenship is a true centerfielder when it comes to playing safety. He was used mostly as the middle third in a cover three scheme in college.
Pick 225: DJ Daniels CB, Georgia
Jacksonville Jaguars Draft Picks 2017
If Daniels hopes to make the team, he will need to show that he is a quick learner, and can contribute to special teams.
Pick 246: Paddy Fisher LB, Northwestern
Jaguars 2021 Mock Draft
He’s a solid linebacker in college who could contribute to special teams.
